While we're on the topic of sram compatiblitiy: anyone ever tried running a 10spd mountain derailleur with an 11spd road shifter? Could get a tt 500 shifter for cheaps and I already have an x7 10spd derailleur.

They are 10 speed and will work with X7/9/GX.

they're supposed to be 11 speed, so these , seller has listed them as tt-500. My thinking was that 10 and 11 speed road stuff has the same pull ratio, and 10 speed has road/mtb compatibility, so in theory it should work I guess?
