Chucked together the rest of this tonight. Might put a rack of basket on it for the commute.

Don't think I ever posted this one. My GIOS cyclocross frame turned into a commuter. Makes for a smooth ride on the cobbled streets we have here. Just added the tubus rack, now looking for some classy panniers.
Bought this Giant recently with the idea to turn it into a kids transporter. Not the nicest retro mtb bike but it's the same I had as a kid so decided to go full circle and buy one (for 30 Euros).
All components will be replaced obviously.

Dredge, but what tyre size are those 650's?

Love the gios. I'd use different cockpit but love it.

Gios is super nice!
Got the 26 out of the shed today. Turns out my old custom AWOL-framebag fits perfectly. Tires are pretty grippy, worked well on icy gravel roads and trails, which is nice because i hate studs.

Also, while the White Industries splined cogs aren't a true interference fit, they're a very tight sliding fit.

Making progress with my new cross bike. Should be ready just in time for the end of the cross season at this rate.

There's still 4 races left in the London League. Plus the Central League.

I'm an Eastern Leaguer myself, as I avoid London's famous London other than for work. There are 6 races left in the Eastern league series. Trouble is, I'm not in the country for the next two weekends, and the weekend after that I have a MTB race. Then it's a weekend's skiing, then it's Christmas, which leaves only two races left. I'm hoping to do one of them.

Semi-finished my new big tyre commuter/gravel grinder yesterday. The commute this morning was the shakedown ride so started off easy in case anything was loose or not set up perfectly but it turned out to be fucking stupendous. Corners like its on rails. I found the gears to be a little gappy right in the middle at my average speed coming from 11-23 and moving to 11-28 but the extra gear of 11 speed helps. Haven't got guards on yet but these tyres don't throw much spray up which was good for today. Some work to be done on the cockpit, need a 130 stem and maybe some flatter top bars. Dynamo in the long run and carradice back on once I've had some fun chucking it round.
Most fun bike I've ever owned, second only to a bonkers single speed DMR jump bike I used to have.@piersriley

These were 8 pound. There's no fancy gravelkingsupremehyperplus that beats these for value

Yep just cans. It’s not perfect by any means but I’m pretty pleased with it. There’s some glitter in the clear coat too :)
There's a guy that looks very like him doing Money Supermarket ads at the moment.
