  • i know folk disagree but i'd like to reiterate my belief that hypers are sketchy in the wet. I've had a few close encounters as has a clubmate. Not gatorskin levels or anything but I wouldn't be flying around tight corners comfortably using them.

  • Gonna sound like a broken record, what pressure you're running them?

I found that even at 10psi more provide a lots less grip in the wet.

  • Had my 35c hypers on now for 2 months, running approx 45psi rear 40psi front (big box) on a 3s disc belt commuter thing. Extremely happy.

In the wet and cold they perform very well, not as tacky as a marathon plus, but not the pedalling in mud sensation either.

Today in the slush /snow/ frozen junk they are fine, not mtb level of grip but certainly happier on these than aby other commuter bike type tyre I've ever tried. Front is ghetto tubeless, rear is tubed. No punctures yet but prob only done 4-600miles
