For when the kid has outgrown the car seat:
This woud still work with a mini-max plus extension bar (which slides in and out).

That looks rad. Mini me is waaaaay bigger than that kid already. She doesn't really need a full on car seat set up I think.
I am thinking if I gave her something to hold on to, maybe some side grips plus inner tube she could wriggle into with her legs facing front as well, and a foam block to rest her back against, it'd be alright.
Alternatively some sort of clamped on rails on the side maybe?

Nothing's cheap down here mate! But yeah, so far we've avoided 2 cars per household, , and that in itself is an achievement. If I get back to cycle-transporting mini-me, I think I can cut out 50% of the car use we have atm easy. Also: resistance training, right?
