• I got my wheels rebalanced yesterday after white knuckling it all the way back from Bristol, that lasted all of 10 miles before the vibration came back.

    Garage said the alloy is probably out of shape if this doesn't fix it and suggested swapping the fronts out with the rears, any thoughts? fond of cheap fixes

  • If it comes up after approx ten miles I would be looking at maybe a sticking caliper causing the brake to start juddering. If you have an infra red thermometer check the disc temperature after a drive, had one at work last month, three at 50 degrees C the last one at 110 degrees C

    Failing that a/ tyres going out of shape, b/ worn track control arm bushes, they tend to be OK under acceleration but a wobble starts at light load cruising and or overrun.
