Heard the phrase DFL used in conversation in a pub last week. It was in relation to a branch of Waterstones in a nearby town masquerading (under subsidiary) as an independent bookshop. "Smug value. They like like that the DFL's don't they?"said the lady on the next table. Made me chuckle anyway.
Was thinking of starting a DFL-based blog. Read a few from the point of view of the locals bemoaning the lack of assimilation and thought it'd be fun to do one from the other end of the telescope.
