No, but I'm having steroid jab no. 2 in my elbow next week in another attempt to clear up my tennis elbow injury. The last one hurt like buggery afterwards, so you may well feel the same after yours. The sternum is technically a joint; my missus has psoriatic arthritis and her sternum gets painful too. Good luck.
