anyone got any recipes/tips for cooking a ham, which isn't on the sweet side? Got to do one for the family and my mum has type 2 diabetes, so the cook it in coke, use shit loads of honey and brown sugar approach isn't really going to work for her.
Can you use sugar-free maple syrup and whole grain/ English mustard for the glaze?
You could use coke zero..
It's a lot of artificial sweeteners though. I suppose the sugars are there to help the malliard reaction.
