Carbon rims are only useful on disc brake bikes or TT bikes. Why people ride spendy rims like that on scrappy British lanes is the same reason people drive around in Range Rovers on 24" chrome rims. Both dumb.

I thought it was to make up for a lack of "dope beats" and "sick rhymes" aka small penis. Guess it depends on which particular Rangey Rovery twat demographic you're sampling.
