I’m out, it dawned on me that this is the same day as thanksgiving so I’ll be working until close to midnight while those idle shits have a holiday.

Just 4 days to go.

Until what?

Just to make sure, has anyone contacted Murtle yet off-forum?
-
• #184
I just sent him a text.
All that therapy time he's wasted...
-
• #185
First timer looking forward to it

You'll be made very welcome.

Don't look at the forum for a few weeks and this creeps up on you.
Will be there for sure.

By you maybe. But you know I'm coming right, whether you like it or not.
The epitome of the friendliest forum on the internet.

Murts, I don't think is able to make an appearance, based on the texts that I may or may not have been able to read this fine evening.

So should we just gather at the Red Lion and then ride down to Horsham?
-

I know it's pantomime season, but your theatrical gruffness is fooling nobody, not even first timers.

• #192
Glad you checked in time.

Someone has to play the baddie.
Baddy or baddie? Bad guy. You know what I mean.

"the genre has declined greatly since the middle of the 20th century"
Like me.

Yep, once every town would be competing for a true star* to headline their pantomime,
these days, it's all ex-soapers and anyone with 20 minutes on a reality show.(Comparative term in the '60s & '70s,
you might strike lucky with, say, Anita Harris,
or,
strike out with Arthur Mullard). -
