Finally some decent comedy to fill void since Fleabag - GameFace excellent and this series of Man Down pretty good.

It's good, but not as good as 1, shooting, general feel and music etc. are as all great but the first was all kinda psychological and implied scary, whereas 2 had loads of cgi monsters running around. A bit like the later alien films.

I'm enjoying The Sinner on Netflix. Weird show, a few tropes like flawed cop with a conscience vs. ruthless by the book cop but it's a weird story so far and we've been charging through it.

Yeah, Alien VS Aliens.

I've not finished ST2 yet but I really wish I'd not bothered with episode 7; just ruins the whole flow of the thing
-
• #3757

That's because everyone remembers the training montages and she had to learn how to throw heavy shit around somehow

I've recently started watching The Night Manager, which is quite good albeit a little slow going.

OK I agree with the Alien vs Aliens thing, so here's the bigger question. Should they just have not bothered?

the opening credits / theme tune's pretty solid. If you overlook the fact that john carpenter should be getting royalties for it.

Matilda Actress Mara Wilson: A 13-Year-Old Girl Is Not “All Grown Up”
The irony of the article being in a magazine that sexualises teen girls as a matter of course appears to be a bit lost.

auto play advertising with sound.

Just started and not really sure what to make of it. Should stop reading the next best thing to watch on Netflix hype.

Mr. Mercedes...10 part series based on the Stephen King novel, stars Brendan Gleeson.
Pretty good, binge watched over 5 nights. Seems to stick relatively close to the novel, except for a few minor changes, but a solid watch. -

Is anyone else watching The Exorcist on the SYFY channel? It is fast becoming a favourite that seems to have snuck under the radar.

Got recommended Motherland. What a load of shit! I really like Catastrophe, but this is awful.
OK what's everyone's beef with ST2? I loved it.
