Winter schmuck more like. Summer brings dust, which just as filthy, and you can always wipe them down, depending on the material. I would recommend Selle Italia Controllo Gel tape to go with that Flite saddle.

Or Condor bar tape in whatever colour he fancies (which is also half the price)
