Yeah, don't get me wrong he makes great bikes I just am not sure you can attribute said ride characteristics to wobbly stays. ;)

I, cynically, think that has more to do with it than physics and it's a smart move on his part too: you can readily spot one of his frames from a distance (cf Bates and Hetchins).
And walk the other way.

It's cool though since they're kind of his signature. If you don't like it you don't buy a Kirk, simple as that
