Potentially interested if the chainstays are straight rather than crimped (candidate for 650b conversion)
-
• #3
They’re straight but I’m not sure what solution you’d use for the brakes. It already takes long drop calipers

Currently looks like this with a disc front end. Disc fork, brake and wheel will be for sale separately

Also I forgot, the threaded downtube cable bosses were screwed and had bent adjusters stuck in when I got it so I've just used Jagwire STI adjusters pushed in the stops which works but in an ideal world they'd be replaced. (Few quid by a framebuilder)

well whatever frame I end up using I'm thinking of getting canti mounts welded on. Interested to know the stack and reach numbers and a weight although I guess you've not yet stripped it down.

I was going to add a disc on the rear, bought the mount to braze on and everything. No not stripped down yet. I seem to remember its not bad for a steel frame.
The set up above is 9.5kg but it was under 9 in road mode with the steel fork and no guards etc -

Also the disc fork is longer and is skewing the geo so stack would be a bit off if I measured now I think

Is this still available with the original forks?
Is there anything else included with the F&F? -
• #10
I’ll get pictures up soon with more details.
It’s frame, fork, headset, seat post binder bolt, colour matched pump and stem which is a Zefal HPX and a Pro PLT 120mm -

I’m gonna have to pull this from sale while I check out what appears to be a crack in the seat tube :/

Anyone interested in these straight lugged 1 1/8" forks?
No guard eyelets. Steerer somewhere 21-23cm I think. Will measure properly.
Its painted green like the frame but haven't got a more recent picture currently

still for sale?

Also interested is still for sale.

Its still around but the seattube has got a small vertical crack/split from a front mech band on clamp being done up too tight. I reckon probably an easy fix for a framebuilder, would maybe be alright without fixing anyway, I obviously rode it for a while without realising.

Can you PM me pics of the crack/split?

Will do
I have a problem.
I can't hold onto a bike for more than 6 months and this one's time is up even though I'm going to regret it and wish I kept it. (I may still do)
Its a Genesis "Little Spoon" and was made as a prototype in 2011 for a staff member who left the company in 2013. That's all the info I have on it and all Genesis would provide me with.
It has had a stuck seatpost heated out of it at some point so the paint was shot. I have rattle canned it green which is scuffed. I didn't clear coat. Will throw in half a can of Vauxhall "Pine Green" for touch ups.
It has Ritchey dropouts, room for 35c tyres, takes long drop brakes which I will include.
Colour coded frame pump and Pro PLT stem included too, as is the fake King headset.
I added rivnut bottle cage bosses too since it didn't have any when I got it as well as the seatpost clamp bolt which was missing.
I will measure up and take better pictures tonight.
Any interest at £160?
