• Just ran a red light past loads of other cyclists waiting. I felt bad.

But the light is at the end of the bus bit next to the fountains in the centre of Bristol. There is loads of work going on so you get shovelled onto the road rather than using the shared path you can usually. Also the phasing is effing ridiculous, so long despite there being very little traffic on the other roads. So I exercised my ability to think over what I supposed or expected to and did something I knew was safe.

Plus I was late for the train.

They've also dug up another section of shared path next to Temple Meads leaving about three foot wide, so again I get forced onto the road, a dual carriageway, three lane monster that goes past the station. The light was red there too but I was turning left, and honestly I have no idea why there's not a seperate green for left-turners, you're in no-one's way.

So tl:dr I found my inner Alliston and was a yob on the roads. However they were both what I call very soft reds. As in they shouldn't be there.
