Don't suppose anyone has a Crank puller in London I can borrow?
Normal version to remove a DS deore Crank.
I could collect it this evening, although I wouldn't be able to return it until next week.
From next week I'd only need it one night.
Or if you're near Angel I could just bring the frame along.
Cheers!

Hi all,
I'm on a conquest to free a seized aluminium stem from a steel frame. I've exhausted liquid corrosive routes and am now resigned to just sawing the bastard out.
Does anyone have a workmate and some mole grips (self locking pliers) that I could use?
Cheers
Edit: Kennington, Vauxhall, Oval, Camberwell, Clapham area would be amazing

I need to remove an old Solida crankarm from the bottom bracket. From what I understand I need a Stronglight puller which has a slightly bigger diameter than a normal puller. Anyone got one I can borrow? Cheers.

If you UTFS for a Stronglight extractor, you'll find a few threads as this crops up from time to time.
Although I don't remember anything recently, you should hopefully get a couple of leads.
Failing which, try SJS.

Anyone got a rotor lockring tool I can borrow / use for like 10 seconds (the one that tightens up the rear of the spider on the cranks).
-
• #1272
Someone gave me a great tip the other day - stick the required size coin on the end of your standard puller
