I really don't like those Kirk seatstays. I'm not a big fan of the paint job to be honest, but those seatstays are so fugly.

Have you read the Kirk thread on Velocipede salon? I agree the stays are aesthetically challenging, but they are designed for responsiveness and handling. I’m not inclined to argue with that, as David Kirk is one of the most respected frame builders around.
