Did something similar. After a few hours in the pub I go to unlock my bike, find my key is missing from the rest of my set. Found it in the road about 2m away.
It just goes to show that most people aren't twats, it's only the small minority that are.

Well, only if you assume they knew the bike was available for stealing. You could also say "it just goes to show that most people are effectively half-blind". The truth is probably somewhere in between

Given the behaviour of other road users I would say that most people are mostly blind, but I get your point. Either way, leave me in my naive little cocoon for a little longer please? It's cold outside.
