  • Tifosi sold.

  • That Serotta is beautiful but hugely on the expensive side I think. Was it not £1900 a few minutes ago?

  • That's not ultegra 6700 on that picture but 6800

  • Agreed. Obviously the price is in the frame but I'd have a hard time dropping nearly 3 grand on aksiums

  • Serotta legends are not worth that much. You can get a Fierte Ti/carbon for about 700 quid. I would say 1400 would be a better starting point

  • Def. I've seen ottrotts here in the UK go for £1200. A stunning ti/carbon Fierte with complete record carbon GS went for £1500 on eBay a couple of weeks back. Alas not my size.
For this id be happy to offer £1200-1400 max.

  • I'd have a hard time dropping nearly 3 grand on used aksiums

    .

  • Would love that Serotta (after stupidly parting company with my Meivici), but not at that price - sorry (you can get a Legend Ti frame & fork on eBay right now for just over £600 posted!)

  • Thanks for all the points. All are correct on the Serotta price but alas it is not my bike and has been hanging in the shop I work in for the past 8 months.

Always good with the forum to get honest pricing so if anyone has any offers I can take back to the owner.

  • Benotto price drop.

Hate to post this on your sale thread but this is something that may possibly affect this Benotto. It's a great looking bike but there are many reported issues of frame failures. Has this bike been used regularly? If so then i'd assume that it would be ok.

  • ^ anecdotal of course but I've seen two Benotto 3000's with replaced seat tubes - such a shame

  • True. They're good looking frames. The reported failures appear to be mostly on Mexican manufactured frames though so if this is an Italian model then it might not be a problem.

  • Thanks all for the info.

Check the frame today and it is Italian. Bike has been ridden but still in great shape.

    Price drop £700

  • It may be better if you post some images of the BB, dropouts etc so potential buyers can have a more detailed look.

How did you identify it as Italian?

  • BUMP!

    This still for sale?
