And I may have put on a bit of weight.

Even I managed to keep my stupid Ksyriums straight until I sold them. Just how fat are you?

Sram QR brakes equally ftw but I had to undo the cable and open it completely to get the wheel to turn

Dapper as fuck this morning - I'm a happy convert to riding an upright bike in regular gear and not sweating. Think that's the smartest I've been on the bike - I looked incredibly out of place among the hi-vis hordes and the Strava KOMs.

Saw a verbal altercation between a ped and a rider who had mounted the pavement because the road was blocked by a council van. Was on the ped's side until the disproportionate apoplectic torrent of rage she let loose at the rider. After that I couldn't bring myself to feel anything but pity. People are angry in this city.

It's ok, I've owned HED wheels and I still have a SRAM S80 sitting at home. I think I still have a Campag skewer on one of my wheels spits

Not until they're somehow made faster than rim brake wheels.

I think it actually came with the HED wheel I had. Obviously I didn't buy it by choice.

What kind of time and where was that? Went from Tower Bridge - New Cross at about 6 and didn't see anything

Looked at the rear tire today. Several large patches of carcass showing through. Never mind a tac, if I hit a feather tonight I'm getting a visit.

Lunch break - buy tyre and fit it.

The punctures and people walking was just before South Bermondsey station .. i took the tack out at the station.

Rode slowly to keep an eye out this morning, found nothing apart from usual broken glass spots.

Proper wheels don't break spokes.
