How cheap is cheap?

I have a french threaded Hatta Swan which is on a beater frame, along with a french threaded bottom bracket.

Would be happy with £45 for the frameset with headset & BB

That’s a flipping steal but I’m in Bristol, so assume that would add considerably to the hassle on your part and cost on my part. Would you consider splitting the headset (I probably wouldn’t if I were you as it would make their frame harder to shift I guess!)

I have just realised that the brand new Velo Orange ones are only £22.50 - that's a very reasonable price for a brand new headset.

I would personally not look for a used one.

You could also purchase used BSA threaded forks and use a standard headset
