I’ll check the serial number - seller was a mechanic at Thorn and evidently was built for him by k sayles. Bike fits 30mm pari roubaixs - the pdws have just arrived from condor so will try and fit them later and see if they work together! Fingers crossed

Oooh Kevin Sayles he's somewhat of a frame building legend :)

good news - there is a clearly marked KS on the B.B. along with a few numbers which I haven’t noted down yet. Pdw 45s look like they’ll fit with the 30 wide challenge tyres but may need a little tweaking for the fork.

Is that bit between the NDS seatstay and seat tube for a frame pump?

Mudguards fit on the rear fine however the brake caliper clearance may be an issue. Might need some creative crimping

Ah!
Gazelle is a beaut - custom made for jeroen Jansen (whoever he is/ was)
From memory 55.5 cc tt, 58ct st, 16.8ish head tube, 531c, blue and goldy/ yellow, chrome forks- it’s hanging up in the last pic... -

After all those pages is this now not happening? I unsubscribed in the end. If this has all been an elaborate ruse, fair play, was worth it just for that video.

It's a "standard" Lee Cooper 853 one. I got it e-bay years ago, could do with a shorter TT but they don't seem to come up in my size :)
But his fillet brazing work is super nice. I need to get it fixed, the BB threads have worn (BB worked loose, I spotted it too late, <--- ejit)
Which means a respray, so I may keep it the original enamel colour, or get something else. Pink I love, but it's hard to resell!

Fyi that looks like a Lee cooper frame, he's done fillet brazed frames for thorn.
If really lucky it can be a Kevin Sayles, there might be initials on the bottom bracket.
I love my thorn which is a blue thorn xtc, the colours on this are great :)
