After a bit of gentle persuasion by @pjhobs I have taken the plunge and ordered a custom Titanium frame from Waltly in China.
All being well the frame should arrive in the next few weeks so I thought it would be prudent to set up a thread for the build.
The frame is loosely based on the Kinesis GF Ti Disc and the J.Jack Laverack. So clearances for big tyres, mudguard and rack mounts. The geometry is based on a bike fit so should be spot on (hopefully).
For anyone who is interested in the frame drawings they are below
I've pretty much decided on spec but there are a few bits still to decide:
Frame: Waltly - Brushed Titanium with sand blasted graphics
Forks: Hongfu FK286 Carbon - 15mm Thru Axle
Stem: Fizik Cyrano R1
Bars: Fizik Cyrano R3
Headset: Chris King Inset 7 (black)
Post: Titanium inline
Saddle: Brooks C13
Wheels: Hunt Mason 4 Season
Groupset: Ultegra Hydraulic
Guards: PDW Full Metal Fenders Black
Tyres: GP 4000s 28mm
