Thanks. The wife has a decent bike for most of her riding. The Brompton would just be for getting to parkway station (slight gradient for the first half a mile then flat) and then from Swindon station to the hospital, which google tells us is pretty flat.
Had a look a 2 speed yesterday, seemed ok weight-wise so I might get her to have a grope of a 3 speed in Evans over the weekend and make a decision then.
The 2 speed is in decent nick. Am I taking the piss by offering £500?
