How is it?

It showed up a day late (thanks Amazon...) so i haven't had a massive amount of time to play it yet what i have played has all been super impressive. The hardware is lovely for a start...

I have a PC that's capable of 4k already but it's a 32" monitor, not a 55" OLED TV which makes a massive difference. 4K HDR is stunning.

The X also improves framerates and texture bandwidths across all other titles meaning every game i have has been slightly (and sometimes drastically) improved across the board.

There's still a lack of 'enhanced' games so far but i'd still say it's a solid 8/10.

Anyone interested in a brand new, sealed Xbox One S with Rocket League and three months Xbox Live? Asking £160.

Finally started playing The Last Of Us Remastered. Opening was ace, then got a little grindy, now it's back to being ace again, looking forward to seeing how it unfolds, I like these kind of games that give you something new every time you sit down for a sesh, no longevity but it's like playing a boxset

Absolutely rinsed COD:MW 1 and 2, 2 especially was a great online game, they ruined loadouts in 3 and the maps weren't as good and the kill streak bonuses became a bit over complicated, but the worst thing was making lobbies private chat, I loved the way you'd get absolutely raging tweens screwing because they'd just been killed several times on the trot by one player, what the fuck were they doing playing an 18 rated game anyway?

Got really good at it but the thing is to be good online I had to get into a zone that took ages to get out of, terrible for your sleep!

Finally unlocked the wormhole fulton device...

I've been spamming the Doom multiplayer, I am incredibly shit at it.
Managed to level up one complete echelon during the weekends double xp.

Gah, wretched xbox 360 has suddenly decided it hates Amazon Prime Video and iPlayer, keeps stalling when I try to watch anything, and the console freezes up, but only in those two apps. YouTube is fine, games are fine. Any ideas on a fix?

Tried clearing the cache, and uninstalling the apps and re installing them, that didn't help...

use the rocket launcher and do a second click to explode the rocket mid air rather than waiting for it to hit a wall. Easy kills that way.

Basically a cleaner, neater version of the PiGRRL (and cheaper as far as I'm aware!)

I built an arcade using retropie and have had been wanting to make a gameboy style emulator for a while, I'll hopefully get round to it eventually but I can't not back this, it's cheaper than building it myself. Cheers for the heads up.
