For Sale: Slingshot Fold Tech - 16" Full MTB

I wanted this bike for years, since Mint Sauce and Jo Burt used to ride a tricked out one in the mid 90's. A trip to the Alps in 2011 gave a reason to have one, so this was built. The frame is from that year.

Obviously, I'm too old, fragile and scared to actually do any mountain biking in this country; so my Slingshot hasn't been ridden since then. It was last out in a bar in Chamonix, watching Cav win the green jersey :(
Having just taken the photos, I'm reminded how much I love it. It's just not getting used, and my new small shed means I'm having to lose a lot of bikes.

Slingshot used to make a big deal about how the spring eliminated the vertical dead pedal spot; I've honestly got no idea if that's true - I didn't notice it. However, I've never seen another one of these and it gets loads of attention (if that's your thing) when out. It rides pretty nicely.

Apparently it folds up somehow - I've never done it. I'm not even sure you can get these in this country any more. It will go on a car rack, despite the odd shape.

It's not been ridden since 2011. Whilst it was fine when it was packed up and there's nothing rusty or broken, you might need to give the brakes and gears ten minutes love. Condition is very good, one or two tiny paint dings but really nothing - no scratches, dents, gashes or anything.

Collection only from Turnham Green / Chiswick Park tube area.

Complete bike: £350; personally I think this is a pretty good price. I won't split anything. No dibs, come and buy it ;)
