Through a friend i got a link about a trackframe which looked pretty interesting..
Thanks again for the link Rick ;)
An aero seattube and a nice looking steel track stem.
.
Left last saturday to France and picked up the frameset.
When i just saw the bike it only got better with the downtube and the fork having aero tubes 👌
Seller told me this frame used to belong to the French national team rider and used at the olympic games 🔥
If this is true, is something that is worth finding out.
When i returned back home i had a closer look at the frameset and in the light i could see the remains of a transfer on the toptube.
Daniel Jacotey it said , and the search started...

After speaking with another friend who is living in Paris,
he helped me get more into detail about this frame.
Thanks for the help Vinnie :)
.
This frame was made by Daniel Jacotey in Picquigny near Amiens in France,
Daniel Jacotey retired in 2016 as a well known shop owner in Picquigny in Picardy, running the shop for 36 years, and the fact that these bikes are no longer being made just adds more kudos to owning one.
This looks to be a unique frame and apperntly was used by French track cyclist Philippe Ermenault.
Philippe Ermenault (born 29 April 1969) is a French former track cyclist.
Ermenault was twice world champion in individual pursuit and Olympic champion as part of the France team in the team pursuit.
He is the father of racing cyclist Corentin Ermenault.

I will try to get as much info as possible but since the shop from Daniel Jacotey closed last year that part will be hard.
Hopefully i can make contact with Philippe Ermenault :)
