Yes, being six a side and making it a bit longer would solve the problem. Basically I strongly suspect that almost every guitar would be improved by putting a Firebird headstock on it.

I kind of have a similar suspicion involving the 6-a-side John 5 Telecaster headstock and the Collings "Fresh haircut" headstock.
