Pop up gazebos. Or some sort of tent with sides. Not very big. Just big enough to get a bike and a turbo and me in.
1.5 X 1.5? Where buy?

can anybody recommend me a fork?
has to be able to fit 38c
only needs the hole for traditional calliper brake (no canti etc)
has to be 1/ 1'8th.
has to be carbonI'm replacing my surly steamroller fork which has 38mm rake, so something near to that as i don't want to increase the wheelbase too much.

3T tech documentation says 28c tyre will fit with 3mm vertical, 4mm lateral clearance β tyre fitted to 14c rim at 8bar inflation. Your config will be too tight IMO.

I'm replacing my surly steamroller fork
Good luck with that. It's hard enough to find much choice in straight 1β " forks, and adding the unusual length and offset requirements makes your task that much harder. The WoundUp commuter is close enough (1mm longer, 3mm more offset), and they will make one to your exact dimensional requirements as a custom. Is the Steamroller fork really so bad that you want to spend Β£500 replacing it?

Whisky no. 7 RD+ can be added to the suggestion
edit: same length, 45 mm rake

Whisky no. 7 RD+
Manufacturer spec is 35C max; I suspect that the Steamroller squeezes a bit more tyre space into the same length because the steel crown is skinny compared with plastic ones. Wound-Up don't say, so maybe their aluminium crown has the same problem.

Yes. This is the clearance with a 35c pasela, a 38 might just fit?

a 38 might just fit?
As usual, it depends which 38, which rim, and what the tyre is likely to try to drag through the gap.

How much space should there be between the inside of your drop outs and your hub? 0 mm? My wheel seems to have a few mm of space between it and the inside of my drop outs. The frame seems to measure more than 130mm (carbon), yet seems to fit perfectly on my trainer. I don't see how the frame could have widened given its material or how the wheel could have shrunk. Any ideas?

Argos doesn't have the 1.5 m one....2m is too big i think. It'll stir the neighbours up.

can you enter a CX race if your bike is equipped with flat bars?
-
• #87345
Yeah, there are a few MTBs at the races I've tried
-
• #87346
Yes. Most League events allow mtbs, and pretty much any bike is permitted as long as itβs safe.
For some reason, the London League specifically bars fixed gear bikes though.

Looks like a begonia - if it is, it will be toxic for cats.
-
• #87348
just stick it in a burlap sack >>> canal? Trying to feed that to your cat is going to be loads of hassle m8 : /

• #87349
Good to know, cheers!

Hah!
Cat is in charge. No burlap sacks for me...
Thanks!
