Internal one from a 3t accelero 40 team, built with straight pull CXRays but can't find nipple details and googling hidden nipples isn't helping

Contact 3T, broken nipples are common on Acceleros and 3T know about it, but they are generally pretty good about supporting their product and will probably send you a bag of nipples.

It's on my list of things to do tomorrow. I do love a bag of nipples.

Tester's suggestion is better given the price of those nipples!

Looks like Mack hubs should go on the 'don't lace radially even if they say it's OK' list.

JRA in Mallorca. Big bang, much wobble, and then the front wheel locked up.

Yep. Vaulted the handlebars when the front wheel locked up.

Is that galvanic corrosion on the spoke holes?

No, just dried sweat. There was no corrosion in the bit of the hub flange that sheared off. Just a nice clean break.

Wow that is a nasty failure, good thing it didn't happen on a hairpin down Sa Calobra or something. Have you spoken to Mack about it?

Sa Calobra today - hence mismatched wheels. I'm not sure Mack hubs are still in business, but I haven't got in touch yet.

Edd gives me F: 273.5 / 275.1, R: 274.7, 273.8.
ACI Alpina SSDB come in even lengths. 274 all round?

Depends whether EDD accounts for spoke stretch. If it doesn't, I'd round down, if it has already accounted for stretch then 274 instead of 273.5 will be fine.

How do I tell? Results were the same within 0.1mm in the DT Calculator, does that?
