Just sat down in the "studio" after a four week decorating marathon.
The UL6s are perched on chunky shelves either side of my desk at ear level. They're sitting on foam pads and angled in. Got the Adam A5x's on foam pads on the desk. Haven't plugged them in yet. Next purchase is going to be a monitor switcher.
Had the Yamaha Ca600 repaired and serviced, re-jigged things and now have the amp and turntable on a little side-car style industrial shelving unit to one side so I can reach over and tweak volume and whatnot. Atm I'm streaming to the Yamaha and Celestions with the QED u-Play and it sounds fucking great.
Got loads of work to do tomorrow and I need to be sharp and well rested... but I've got half a bottle of half decent scotch and this is sounding dangerously amazing. Gah.
