No, sorry, I'm after a long 10mm hex bit, not a converter.
Like the 10mm thing on this set, but maybe longer
I know that set's cheap, but I really CBA with another box of unused tools in my flat

I just got a spare 10mm hex key, cut the ends off, and used it in a standard 10mm socket. Easy to do with the angry grinder.

"everybody's clapping on the one and the three"
is a line from the Jason Isbell song The Last of My Kind
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1HqfDQezy0
Anyone know if this is a reference to particular musical traditions where the emphasis is on 1,3 and those where 2,4 are the beat?
thanks

Probably.
It's well worth checking out the video of Harry Connick Jr messing with an audience by sneaking an extra beat into a piece, thus taking the clapping audience from 1/3 to 2/4.

Oh an Allen key, my mistake.

Will google that - thanks.

I have one of these sets, used the long 10mm one for ultra torque dozens of times without issue.

If you've not found it yet, search for Harry Connick Jr rythmic displacement.

He's going to need a step-up adapter to get a 1/2" key to work with his 3/8" ratchet.

their website, they have recently added photos of complete build
looks good, however im not sure about removable derailleur hanger

Rd hanger isn't the best solution, but 40c clearance and low price make it very intresting

Aesthetics aside, will all sram red and duraace 11 bits mix and match without issue?
If so are there any bits that are preferable i.e. Is the sram cassette lighter/ better than the da. Is there a mix that's better than the standalone groups?I'm currently looking at sram shifters with da everything else unless there are reasons not to do this.

da everything else
Derailleurs? Cable pull ratios not gonna be a problem?

Without watching the video, it could be reference to the annoying habit non-musical crowds have of clapping on the wrong beats (1 and 3), ruining the feel of a song.

Cassettes are the same spacing, so interchangeable, other bits need to be one or the other.

Shimano MTB freehubs.
This wheelset is described as being "Compatible with Shimano/Sram 9-/10-speed": will it also take an 8 speed cassette?
Suggestions for cheaper wheelsets welcome: 29", native 6-bolt disc, QR. Only need a rear, but seems better value to buy a set.

Yes
I get high readings from Garmin straps (all models) if I move the strap around whilst wearing it. I notice this more when I'm playing 5-a-side as I tend to adjust the strap more.
I've also get sustained periods of high readings (2 minutes of 240bpm+) when passing close to buses or, oddly, one of the places where buses turn around (even if there are no buses there). I'm guessing there's some electrical interference that's affecting the strap of the communicatons from strap to Garmin.
