  • looking for a decent ish lightweight wheel for my fixed (got an ellipse at the back)

    something in the £100-150 range

    cheers

  • Have a strong but light higher end 'training' wheel with very little wear on the rim, handbuilt especially for me. Consists of DT R1.1 (single eyelet) mated to an FRM carbon hub (shell only not the carbon axle variant) using Sapim Race spokes, 32 spoke 3 cross, 680g sans skewer (not included).
Hub runs lovely and smooth, grey debadged rim runs true, no cracks around eyelets, 21mm depth, good for 28mm tyre, wider if need be (I've run 32mm on my open 4s)
£109 incl fully insured postage. £100 collect N.Herts.
Edit to add, comes with a Michelin rim strip but it's a bit loose without a tyre/tube fitted, I had intended to get some veloplugs but now using different winter wheels.

  • Probably not the best match for an Ellipse but if you want something good for the road with brake i have a freshly built 28h Zenith/Kinlin XR22t with Laser spokes no longer needed. All new parts, only done a few miles, £100ish.

  • I’ve got an almost new pair of ellipse on evilbay at the mo. Collection only though....
