Yes, the Gramofon does do some lovely stuff. For instance, if you're listening to a playlist on Spotify, the person with that phone can go out of range, and Spotify will just keep on playing the playlist. Also playlists can be editted or added to by multiple smartphones running AllPlay Jukebox.

Because a Chromecast Audio is absolutely comparable. You can't plug it into CAT5 but other than that, it's the same. The Gramofon does look nifty.
