I'd rather walk around with a talking
parrot on my shoulder -

There is a guy in Berlin who cycles around with maybe 5 parrots on his handlebars and shoulders...

I don't really get what you're paying for to be honest. Cut and shut any old MTB frame and you'll get the same thing for a 1/5th of the cost.

Geometry is wildly different though. I have an 18" Kona Lava Dome from '97 and the effective TT is around 600mm(!). On the Crust it's between 550-565 (they have two medium sizes).
I think the reason they're double the price of a Genesis Vagabond frameset or a Marin Four Corners with comparable geometry is due to the size of their operation.
The frames are from Taiwan but they can't order in the same magnitude as the big manufacturers. Add some special order items like the thru-axle fork and eyelets galore and you have a higher price.
Price is what you pay, and value is what you get. Obviously some customers think the added value is worth it. -

Oh I understand the economics aspect of it and not in disagreement at all. Well deserved.
The geometry aspect though, not at all. I've seen the geo charts and everything, and as a converted 90's ting tiny headtube conversion owner, why does near enough every crust seem to have a spacer stack to rival a lamp post?

So does my genesis. Because having the bars higher than your saddle is the life.

What's with the mini skateboard deck on the main frame?

For a child to stand on I suspect

No idea, maybe a bag support
I quite like the idea of traveling with a Brompton, do some cycle touring but be able to go with the comfort of trains, planes, common taxi's and hitchhiking easily. What it would be like in practice remains to be seen of course. Maaaybe something for next summer.
Anyone recognize the front bag?

Front bag looks like the biggest Brompton bag. Mini deck is obvs for a chihuahua or possibly a cat. Anyone got a link for the seat post?

All the hashtags on that Facebook page just melted my brain.

Touring on a Brommy
My wrists hurt just thinking about it. That oil-slick seatpost is awesome though!
Integrated needs a 1" steerer, non requires a 1" stem clamp.
