I have friends who use Kodi installed on (I believe) a Fire stick, including the ability to err...'purchase' pretty much any Tv/Film you can think of. It's very impressive and easy to use.

It depends if you need to have iPlayer etc on the stick or if you can stream from your computer

jesus.
I mean how do you have food 'delivered in style'?
Fucking backflipping waiters, platinum vinyls for plates, everyone speaks latin, GQ interview for dessert???

As you may have found, some sources say the 6700 SS cage (mid I suppose, but there's no short) can take 28t, some 30t. Possibly as there was no 30t when it came out?
Anyway I have a 30t and I'm pretty sure I could fit a 32t as it's not close to fouling. But my frame seems to have a particularly long dropout which helps.
Oh and I have a 50/34 chainset which puts the total teeth difference 1 over the stated capacity. It's fine.

Relax, I meant they were nice to me and didn't spill anything.

Will I get away with a standard chainring 1x with a clutch mech? Or is N/W still necessary.

Will I get away with a standard chainring 1x with a clutch mech?
Depends where you ride and how happy you are to get off and put the chain back on occasionally. FWIW, my X-SYNC™ ring has been flawless on the MTB even without a clutch, whereas I was constantly dropping the chain when I had a conventional single speed ring on it.

off road, no.
on road, you might want a chain catcher too and run the ring on the inside. This is the cheapest catcher I've ever found, and you can remove the extension so it's identical to a gusset one

I did whilst racing cross the first year I ran 1X - this was before narrow wide came in 110/30 BCD flavour. I used X9 and a Thorn single chainring.
It was fine but once the chain had a season on it it would start drop occasionally.

I have a 1x10 SRAM Rival set up with a 12-34 clutchless rear and a single speed chainring on the outside.
It grumbles a bit in the biggest two cogs but hasn’t dropped a chain in 2000km on the road including some mountains.

My Zee derailleur/chainring has been ok so far, all on road though.

Am I correct in the assumption that my max heart rate of 227 for this ride is bogus? It shows before the climb that I actually red lined on, and then later on a descent. Time for a new strap? Or do I need to go to the cardiologist again?
This was the first time I used my Wahoo Elemnt Bolt, but with an old garmin strap that came with my 705.

Try a fresh battery in the strap.
I've had some very high spurious readings on flat batteries. If it's the strap with the third electrode on the side, did you wet that as well?
-
• #87296
Batteries are very fresh ... yes, did wet it before putting it on ... but I think I might just get a wahoo one ... which does bluetooth also
-
• #87297
Probably. Which strap? The old plastic ones are robust compared to the soft straps that produce garbage if you don’t keep them real clean.
-
• #87298
Yeah, old plastic. From 2009 i think.
-
• #87299
Weird. Maybe it doesn't play nice with Wahoo.

Can someone find on the internet a long 10mm hex bit that goes on a 3/8" ratchet. For use on Campag Ultratorque cranks...
Cos I'm frigged if I can find one.
I’m fed up of using my Playststion3 for bbc Iplayer, 4od, Netflix etc. The PS3 apps are very glitchy.
What digital media player is recommended Google chromecast, amazon firestick, Apple TV etc?
