You sure it's No. 1? In the catalog the forks look straight, whilst here it has Russ pattern forks.

Very lovely machine, was tempted last time, still tempting now, but as you, no space, too many projects, bla bla bla :(

pretty sure-see the second image of the club model- (club model continued on page 5) think it's that one.) with the 'upright head'.
AS much as I want you to but this, I can see that you do indeed have far too many projects at the moment- a frame a month?!

Sunday Price Drop Bump
Tried to sell this on here a while back and have listed elsewhere until now, but have ended those sales and back on here with a lovely LFGSS price drop. Need to sell this as wives birthday coming up and christmas, so in need of the money really.
Early Macleans Featherweight Club Model no. 1 with 'upright head', as per;
http://veterancycleclublibrary.org.uk/ncl/pics/Macleans%20catalogue%20c1939%20(V-CC%20Library).pdf
£290 Open to (sensible) offers. Willing to split if no-one wants it whole...
Has some really nice parts, and is in what looks to be original paint/chrome etc
Rare Macleans frame Club model no. 1 Upright Head tube. 22.5" inches I think c-t-c (23" centre-to-top) seat tube and 22 1/2 c-t-c top tube. In Original Paint.. Pre War frame number. (H85)
see: http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/macleans.html
.Really very rare and pricey Constrictor Conloy 26 1 1/4" inch wheels on Blumfield double fixed hubs. With nice old fashioned tyres too. (will take 700c/sprints if desired)
.Lovely Webb Pedals. Spin like a dream.
.Durax fluted cransket with continental chain ring- really nice very delicate looking steel cranks. Lovely Patina
http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/components/durax-comp.html
.Nice original head clip with matching stem. Lovely patina.
.Mansfield Saddle, pretty good condition. Is pierced so could be laced for a narrower saddle
.Reynolds? comfort flat moustache type handlebars with early steel brake. (different to that shown but nice early calliper brake. -can provide image if required or keep the pictured one and I=ll throw in some rare GB Hinduminium flat bar levers to go with it)(
Make a really really lovely classic vintage bike, very hard to find in original condition. Don't want to sell it but too large for me and nowhere to store it. Shame but better someone gets to ride it. A rare chance to get a true classic lightweight bicycle with top notch parts that sit well together,
The bottom bracket axle could maybe be changed for shorter one for better chain line and needs chain but other than that a really very rare and pretty much all period correct (should that bother you) Classic Lightweight in original paint.
I'd love to keep but just can't, easy project to finish off.
Currently in south London, you can pick it up if you like or can post if your happy to pay costs
