W: 26" MTB wheels and stuff

Hi,

I need a pair of nice 26" wheels for a Kona Lava Dome.

100/135mm
QR
Smooth
Rims with brake surface
Preferably silver spokes and black rims

Max budget £150

A pair of big slick tyres and some inner tubes could also be interesting.

Besides wheels I need a 8 speed Shimano trigger, 26.6 mm seatpost and some flat pedals.

I have a set of Mavic D521 to Deore hubs. Sadly the rims are silver.......they have a Bontrager G1 exp tyre and a Tioga FS100 tyre both of which have been used for all of 10 miles.

Yes please. But is D521 for rim brakes?
Google tells me they probably for rim brakes. How are the hubs? Gritty or smooth?

I have a set of xtr brakes levers and v brakes if anyone is interested. Had them fitted to my kona.

I Have a pair of Shimano 8 speed STI pods in very good order, lightly used, shifts are bob on with no hesitation. They're the older style with the numbers in the gear display window as opposed to the dashed line jobs the modern variants display. the clamps themselves are aluminium alloy.

i have these lovely wheels Mavic SUP with parallax hubs- 2 x sets of schwalbe slicks (all black are bigger) , inner tubes and rear 8 speed cassette included for 100 quid - plus postage to where you are...

They are for rim brakes, super tough rims. The hubs are ok, they don't need immediate attention but they could do with a regrease for winter.

Got some Miche 10.4's, destickered with only about 100 miles on them, a few marks but vgc - £50

Or... Might be tempted to part with my Mavic 317/XT M765, similar mileage, excellent condition, built by forum approved builder - £100
