I think it's probably fair to say that "negative pricing" of electricity is not a good thing. It still costs money to produce electricity, maintain power plants on down time and maintain the electrical systems that transport this power everywhere. The negative pricing is a result of it being cheaper for the transmission companies than having to repair/compensate for a network that has just overheated and caused widespread powercuts.
Still, great that wind power is able to provide so much clean electricity, we just need to ensure that the investment is made in electrical systems to allow this kind of event to be managed better.
