what should and shouldn't be legal is subjective

Trivial example but I think it's a bit stupid that recumbent riders must have pedal reflectors when riding at night.

On a more serious note, I think the drink drive limit in the UK is too high.

Of course. Though that has zero effect on the objectivity of what the law actually is.
