Took them off beforehand on the basis that I wanted to ride offroad a bit. Which was definitely the right decision - I don't think they'd have survived the rougher bits of the descent to Dolgellau. I was close to pushing on some of it.

Just joshing. I hate mudguards. Looks a bit soggy though. I'm sure my TT bike will be fine through that...
