did you build these yourself then? I bought the same Uno rims when they were reduced at Condor, but have struggled to find the EDD to build them up! (that's my excuse at least :)

I did indeed, yes.
It seems that the rims have been at a tenner for the last 4-5 months.
ERD = 584mm
Lacing 3x - I used 282mm spokes with 12mm nipples for both front & rear. 280mm spokes would also work fine.
Here are my calculations using Novatec/Planet X/Formula/Joytec/System EX/Condor hubs (basically the majority of high flange hubs with sealed bearing :
Radial 262 Front 261 Rear
1x 264 Front 263 Rear
2x 272 Front 271 Rear
3x 282 Front 281 Rear
4x 294 Front 293 Rear but would overlap the hub flanges so not recommended.Give or take a mm
You could also use shorter spokes and 16mm nipples.
I hope this helps...

very helpful - thanks! I have 282mm spokes and a Novatec hub too, so that will be perfect, just have to lace it 3x as you have done.

Happy to build them for you if it frees up time for you to finish the GT AeroTr-hack ...

If you would consider splitting, how much will the front wheel be selling for?
-
• #8
I would be happy with £35 for the front wheel.
I can include a used tyre & tube for an extra £5 to keep you going or a brand new one for £10.

SOLD SOLD SOLD
Hi all,
I had a pair of used System EX hubs so I bought new parts to build this 700c wheelset.
That helps me selling my hubs while supporting the british economy...
Rear hub is double fixed, threads are good. Sealed bearings are good - I have replaced the axle bolts are the rear, spacing is 120mm but I can increase it if needed.
Laced 3 cross front & back.
New Condor Uno 32h white Clincher rims 700c- machined braking surface front, non machined rear = £20
New ACI double butted spokes & nipples (x64)= £20
New Vittoria rim tape = £4
New Lifeline 17t 3/32 sprocket + beefy lockring = £10
Total parts= £54 withour the hubs
Although the rims are brand new, the rims have light marks from storage at Condor. Nothing major but worth mentioning as it will not do for a show bike. I purchased them last week so they are warranted if that matters.
This is a basic wheelset which would be ideal for a daily ride.
I am after £75->SOLD for £70 for the wheelset, I also have spare tyres & tubes if you need them - £10 for used tyres 700x23 & tubes, £20 for new 700x25.
Pick up from Stoke Newington
Cheers
Vince
