that's the conclusion we've reached. it just doesn't make any sense. also, why on earth would the current owner buy a leasehold as an investment property, surely he must have known it would be near impossible to shift as a leasehold? on further inspection, it looks like they have form for not including any info regarding lease status on any of their listings.
who knows, maybe there's a misunderstanding about the whole situation and the deal is salvageable. hope springs eternal etc.
wondering now if it's related to the fact that it's on the Corbett estate that it's leasebound - @6pt, you're our man on the ground, any ideas?
