Possibly, although haven't thought that much about it yet. What does it come with?

Yeah it's 15 years old but still seems to be the gold standard. But it's reminded me that there's a pile of info on it: http://alumni.media.mit.edu/~jorkin/goap.html.
Although it is sophisticated at the individual AI level, it's interesting that there are some simple tricks pulled to make squad behaviour look cleverer than it actually is - from memory, when an AI decides to attack, they have another AI say 'you, go and attack there', giving the impression that the AI actually give and take orders from each other, which they don't.
Something like ARMA actually does model orders, but it's fragile and actually ends up being less convincing.

Cheers, I'll have a think but don't hold it for me. I'd really want two controllers and a quick google suggests that they are pretty pricey which is putting me off.

F.E.A.R is what first comes to mind for me.
Also, I'm sure you've probably seen it already, but this is a good video to watch:

You'll have to buy a controller whatever happens, unless you get a bundle with two...
I do have a black second controller (one of the newer bluetooth ones) I could add in for £20.

anyone picked up Wolfenstein 2 the new collosus yet?
I might have to put it into the easiest mode as I just keep dying.

I'm playing Wolfenstein on the regular difficulty and finding it really inconsistent. The normal parts of the levels are a piece of piss, thanks mostly to the incredibly dumb AI.
In contrast there have been a couple of set-pieces (penthouse and courtroom) which were really fucking difficult.
All good fun tho'. Level design and art direction are top drawer.

My son worked out a way of having one copy of COD working on our two individual ps4's.... that's my spare time fucked for a while then!

• #18192
If this doesn't sell I might be tempted in the additional controller.

• #18193
I think I'll pass at the moment thanks. Not sure it's strictly necessary whilst I've got a PC capable of gaming (and not much spare time).

No worries

Had a couple of #2's earlier (TMI) and am a bit jumpy from the tension still, so downloading arma3 instead.
