Could sell many bikes in the next few weeks.
80km earlier and it was glorious.
Looking forward to getting some better photos at some point and -as soon as I actually have a weekend free- going for a ride together.

So nice. Even though I couldn't reach the pedals, my bimble round the carpark was telling.

Managed to cross-thread a crank bolt on a beater MTB whilst pulling it off - anyone know a shop in SW that would be able to take off a crankset from a square taper BB for cheaps? I've got a dremel, but don't think that it would 'cut' it!

I've got replacements for both, so they could all be thrown into a fire.

Fair play. It will definitely look better with the Alfine fitted and by the sounds of it will ride better.

Did some OCD fiddling on the Flandria and changed the hoods to the correct globe logo. Also Ambrosio bike ribbon , a change to Cinelli 1R cockpit and a full record headset. First world bike problems, isn't it...

Looks good to me, i'll be going for Decathalon levels of dullness with my CAAD 8. We just need matching Altura hi vis jackets and spd walking shoes to complete the look.

Be interested to see how you get on with the PDW's with those callipers.

I don't think they're gonna fit tbh. Might have to get some 105 callipers.

All that to replace this. I don't know what I was thinking. I'm ether gonna put carbon forks (with eyelets), black wheels and blackish SRAM on the Look, with the PDWs

or

Get the CAAD8 powdercoated in some mad flouro colour.

Paint the CAAD. Despite being pretty common theyre brilliant all round frames. Just a shame they only come with shit paint

Yeah, I'm leaning that way. Flouro pink or yellow look shit. Might go with this as inspiration. I can get it powdercoated for £60 then rattle-can the forks so it's won't be an expensive experiment.

Frame was only £100. If I like how it rides and the 'guards fit I might invest.

Personally I'd just go single colour with some simple decals. Especially if you'll be locking it up etc

Probably right, cheap single colour powdercoat for the frame, but then I have to deal with the forks. I hate painting things.
