xbox one = original
xbox one s = slim version (same thing basically)
new xbox one x = updated higher spec console.
all play the same games, but some games are enhanced for the X
you'll want a big hdd as games take up a ton of space (you can expand with a usb hdd but easier to get a large one to tide you over).
