I was going to look for a bigger place but with Brexit, fuck this place. I'll pay off my place and then see if we're not all in a radioactive sea then make another call. Warmer, drier, fewer arsehats on the roads being goals...

Yeah, the shit show that is Brexit is too much or an unknown for me too, I'm even going to give up contracting and go perm, knuckle down and see where we end.
That property I went to view (that turned out to be well over priced) has been reduced to 580k already. I viewed it with mother, she was unimpressed and felt it worth less. I spent the rest of the weekend jumping out from hiding places trying to make her jump in an attempt to kick start the inheritance so I could afford something I wanted in an area I wanted to live in, also unimpressed.

I would read that but I am far too low on energy and enthusiasm. I imagine my set up is the same, my oven is wired to something, maybe a normal plug? The big red switch on the wall that usually kills ovens sure as shit aint connected to it. Prob ought to get that looked at.
After home faffing, I have decided to stay put, signed up on another 2 year fix (with my mortgage guying telling me prices are going up by the end of the week). Same deal but 100 quid less a month, going to try and over pay 10% in 2 years.
I can't move out of the bubble just yet, not yet...
