So,

I called GLL hackney marshes today, to book the lights.

Following Jono's advice earlier in the thread :-

"For Downs, you need to call 020 8986 7955 and ask for either Paula or Ivana who can book the lights (Hackney Downs MUGA) at the new rate of £10 an hour."

I phoned at 9am, asked about the lights and asked for Paula / Ivana. The person who answered the phone had no idea what or who i was talking about, they asked me to call back at 11am.

11am - I called again, still no clue, they tell me they will ask management and call me back.

2.30pm - I called again, management and everyone there had no clue about how to book lights.

I asked after Ivana and Paula again.

It transpires that Paula has left and Ivana has moved to Stoke Newington reservoir centre (another GLL venue).

So, I phoned the reservoir centre and spoke to her. She also was not able to book the lights, she informed me that the pavillion on Hackney Downs book them directly. She gave me the contact details of the gentleman who looks after the pavillion.

I phoned Michael, after a few tries I got through. I asked Michael if I could book the lights, he informed me that he doesn't do that and that I have to book via GLL.

I informed him that the GLL had told me to contact him directly, he told me I was wrong and that he was done for the day.
