Anybody looking for quality handmade bikepacking bags and panniers, I can highly recommend Mack Workshop. Jon has just produced a pair of custom panniers for me, and his quality and interpretation of my (rather vague) brief is second to none. I think for the work he has done and the level of communication throughout the process he cannot be faulted on price.
So if you're in the market for new bags, give him a go.
Will post pics when I can find a sharing site that works on my phone. -

think this is the right place, can anyone recommend me a rucksack ?
-preferably roll top
-less than£100
-to fit 13inch macbook + few textbooks etc/jacket
-i like the aesthetics of the freitag/m-24 tarpaulin bags but straps don't look comfortable.
-ortleib look good for the money
-bonus points for bright colours or high vis patch.edit:found relevant thread

Will I die if I use only one of the pannier seat stay mounts? The non drive side is obstructed by rear brake cable and my attempts to bend the stay without owning a vice have been futile.
-

Hmm, it's not as good quality as a tubus. It's a cheap tortec velocity rack.
-
• #334
I would be more worried about the quality of the mount on the bike than the rack.

Any pics yet? Happy with what I've had from him in the past but didn't realise you could spec anything from him.

Unfortunately not. Jon seems to be willing to give most jobs a go. Had a couple of email chats with him, sent him my rack and a template, he did the rest.
Definitely using Mack Workshop again. -

Anyone had any experience with these?

Can't go wrong for a tenner?

Anyone tried these Podsacs from Planet X? £79 for the pair seems like great value.

Where are people getting urban looking back packs from? Ive looked at restrap/mack but cant seem to find anything cycling related that isn't technical AF?

Mission workshop are amazing

Bigxtop may be what you are looking for.

Luggage on my nipper’s bike needs some hardware changes....
I’m on the hunt for a beater 26er 1&1/8” canti fork with double eyelets (or lowrider/eyelet combo) ... if anyone can help me out I’d be well grateful. Happy to offer cash, swaps or homemade produce like chutney (not a euph).
By double eyelets I mean pairs of mudguard-type eyes above and below the ends.

Has anyone used Tortec P-CLAMPS? I can't find out what the size refers to. They offer 16-22mm, is that diameter of the band?
-
• #347
Usually with P-clips it is the diameter of the thing you are clamping - a 22.2mm clamp to clamp around a 22.2mm pipe.

• #348
Got ya. Nice one. The Tortec ones will be too small for my forks then. Cheers

Condura or X-PAC? I bought an ILE Rackbag in both and I still can't decide. The weight doesn't feel vastly different by feel.

I've ordered the Podsacs Expedition handlebar bag and saddle bag bundle, I'll report back when they arrive!
