[on not bothering to race] who said I haven't tried?! I have my qualifications to race on the track and I've participated in many alley-cats all over the world. The crit to me is a velodrome with an extra couple of corners and a hairpin... Put gears on the bikes at the Hed Hook Criterium and the race becomes just like any other Criterium race for roadies. What you don't understand is that I don't feel the need to compete or prove myself to anyone. I compete against myself.
